Primary purpose is to coordinate the athletic program
and staff.
The Athletic Director will work very closely with the
High School Principal.
Duties will include:
Planning; coordinating; recording keeping; scheduling;
budget development; supervision of department personnel;
purchase and inventory of equipment & materials; MIAA
compliance; liaison to all parent booster groups;
supervision of management of facilities; representative at
league, district & state meetings; and other duties as
appropriate.
Qualifications:
An advanced degree from a regionally accredited
institution.
Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of and appreciation for the relationships
between academics and athletics.
Experience as a successful coach and/or experience as an
athletic director.
