Welcome to the Guidance Department

 

 

The philosophy of the guidance office is to provide an open and inviting atmosphere to all students, faculty, parents and guardians.  Our main focus is to assist all students in acquiring the competencies of learning, working, and relating to others in order to be productive and contributing members of our society.

PSAT 2014 Fact Sheet

PSAT Registration will begin September 22, 2014. The test will take place at Mansfield High School on Saturday, October 18, 2014.

Registration Procedure: There are no forms - students can bring a check (payable to MHS) or cash to the Guidance Office and sign up with Mrs. Yaghoobian. In return, they will receive a study guide and a Fact Sheet, which has details about the test day.

Cost: $28

 Scholarships

 

MHS Local Scholarships will be available March 2, 2015.

 

 

Due to FERPA regulations, the Guidance Department is not permitted to release personal student information (like rank/GPA) over the phone or email.  All requests must be made in person.

Parent Coffee Hours

 

Beginning in February the guidance department will be offering "Coffee Hours", where each counselor will meet with small groups of parents of current juniors to answer any questions they may have about the college process. 

 

More information will be added when session dates have been determined.
