The Stylus editorial staff meets every
Wednesday from 2pm-3pm in room 234.

Stylus is Mansfield High School's literary magazine.
Stylus accepts original works of short
fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction and artwork from the
student body of Mansfield High School. A
student does not have to belong to the Stylus staff to submit
work for publication. We publish
three to four issues a year, including a "senior
tribute" issue in May, and sell these for fifty
cents an issue at lunch. (The proceeds go toward publication
costs, particularly the occasional
color cover.) There is a "Stylus" receptacle
for submissions in the school library, or students can
send their work to nadine.mullins@mansfieldschools.com.
A student may join the staff at any time.
Staff duties include
editorial, layout, publicity and fundraising work, as well as
some exercising of creative writing
skills. Publication in this magazine and participation
on staff could be considered assets on
students' resumes.
