Mansfield High School's 2008 MIAA State Division I Boys Cross Country Championship Team received their championship award watches during the June 10 Breakfast Celebration.

This is Mansfield High School's 1st MIAA State Division I Championship. Mansfield won the championship November 15 at the world class Franklin Park Cross Country Course in Boston. The team scores were Mansfield 85, St. John's Prep 100 and Nashoba 109. Mansfield's top runner for the meet was Shayne Collins with a time of 16:26.4 for the 5K course.

Members of the team are: seniors - Josh Brodin, Kevin Meagher, Patrick Grimes; juniors Brendan Boyle, Matthew Hernon, Patrick McGowan; sophomores - Shayne Collins, Joseph Cole; Julie Collins, Head Coach and Peter Schuder, Assistant Coach.
