Digital Sound image Digital Sound Technology has evolved along with the evolution of the computer.  Sounds have been created, stored and reproduced in many forms throughout time. Early man communicated using an early drum by beating hollow logs with sticks.
Through the use of computer technology, sounds can now be stored and reproduced in a digital format.  Audio waves produced by any sound can be stored on the computer, then be analyzed and modified--by adding an echo for instance--to suit our needs.
Using the latest technology, you will be able to see how computers can be made to recognize and respond to human voice commands and how they are able to speak back!
