MANSFIELD’S
SUMMER INSTITUTE
Mansfield’s
Tweeter Summer Institute is an athletic/enrichment program for
children in kindergarten through grade eight. The program is
held from 9:00AM to 12:00PM, Monday through Thursday for five
weeks beginning June 30 2008, at the Jordan Jackson and
Qualter’s Middle Schools.
Last summer, the program enrolled over 1800 children from
Mansfield and the surrounding communities. Our catalog is sent
home with all Mansfield children the week before April school
vacation. We also put catalogs in all local libraries as well
as on the Mansfield School’s web site.
Our 2007 catalog offered over 100 courses in the following
categories:
Arts & Crafts
Drama & Dance/Music
Games & Sports
Language Arts
Computer Science
Kitchen Adventures
Super Science
Math Fun
Foreign Language
You can propose a course for
one week or all 5 weeks! You can propose the same course each
week but at different grade levels! You can propose a
different course each week at different grade levels! The
possibilities are endless!!!! Some courses from last summer
may be available to you this summer! Teachers, Moms, Dads,
senior citizens and college students are welcome to propose a
course. You do not have to be a Mansfield resident.
I am currently accepting course proposals
for our 2008 catalog. This packet contains everything you need
to propose a course. Please send completed forms to CHAMPS c/o
Jordan Jackson School, 255 East Street, Mansfield, MA 02048.
