After School Choir

Fall Schedule

Rehearsals will take place in the MHS auditorium most Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:15-3:15pm.   Please see the schedule below:

Info meeting: Thursday, September 24^th 2-2:30pm

Rehearsals:

Tuesdays: 10/6, 10/13, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 12/1, 12/8

Thursdays: 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/19, 12/10

MHS Holiday Concert:  Wednesday,

December 16^th @ 7pm  

Singers arrive at school by 5:30pm dressed in concert attire *

After school rehearsals are mandatory.  Parents please email me at Sheila.Newton@Mansfieldschools.com if your child is absent from school on a rehearsal or performance day.  I will excuse them from the rehearsal/performance.  Two excused absences is the limit if your child wants to perform in the MHS Holiday Concert. 

*Concert attire – solid bright white blouse, dress shirt, or sweater, black dress pants or black skirt (below the knee), black dress shoes, red tie (boys only).

2009-2010

Holiday Concert:

Performance:  Wednesday, December 16^th @ 7pm - MHS Auditorium

Choir members arrive at 5:30pm dressed in concert attire.

Caroling at Home:

Monday, December 21^st 8am-3pm

Elementary school children are invited to the high school for entertainment in the auditorium.  Five performances, first show starts at 8am and the last performance ends at approximately 3:00pm.  Concert attire

6^th Annual Cabaret Night Shows:

Mandatory dress rehearsals – Wed & Thurs, Feb 3 & 4^th 2-6pm in costumes

Performances: Fri & Sat, Feb 5^th & 6^th @ 7pm in the MHS Auditorium – All Choir members arrive at 5:30pm in costume.

Pops Concert:

Performance:  Wednesday, May 26^th @ 7pm in the MHS Auditorium

Choir members arrive at 5:30pm in concert attire.

Graduation:

Ceremony:  Sunday, June 6^th 1pm @ Comcast Center

Choir members meet on the Comcast Center stage at noon
