Project
Teammate is a collaboration between the regular and
special education
staff,
which creates a special learning opportunity for both regular
and special
education
students. Regular education students either volunteer their
time during
studies
or take a class as a full credit elective. Special education
students have
time
scheduled for this class or it is part of their physical
education credit.

Events with Project Teammate......
Project
Teammate currently has 3 periods during the school day. The
first class, P1, is also a physical education credit course. The
other two classes, P3 & P4, do jobs that enhance skills
for real world applications. Jobs include stocking the cafeteria,
running the school store, and recycling. During the course,
regular and special education students will be paired up,
and improving team-building skills through activities, such as
sports, school related jobs, and communication skills.
