Health Services Mission Statement
Our Mission is to promote an optimal level of wellness by advocating for students and removing barriers that impede health and learning. Our vision is for every student to be healthy, safe, and ready to learn.
Our services include:
Evaluating and managing the health needs of all students
Providing first aid and emergency care
Monitoring and administering medications and medical procedures as prescribed by a medical provider
Coordinating mandated health screenings which include height & weight, vision, hearing, postural, and SBIRT
Managing the surveillance of communicable diseases
Supporting students and families with accessing medical care and health insurance
Working with other school-based groups to provide safe and healthy environments
