Invitation to Choral Alumni: Join Us for a Special Winter Performance!

Mansfield High School is excited to announce a unique opportunity for our choral alumni! We invite you to join the current high school choir for a heartwarming reunion performance of Let There Be Peace On Earth Thursday December 18th at 6:30PM, to be held in the Barbara Trombley Auditorium, Mansfield High School.

This year, we want to celebrate the rich history of our choir program and Mrs. Trombley by welcoming back past members. Whether you sang with MHS for a year or all four, your voice has contributed to our community's musical legacy.

Rehearsal:
Tuesday December 9th, 7:30-8:30PM, Qualters Middle School

Performance Date:
Thursday December 18th at 6:30PM, MHS Auditorium

The MHS choir, band and orchestra will perform a variety of seasonal favorites throughout the concert. Our alumni performance of Let There Be Peace On Earth will be the choir encore and a highlight of the evening. This is not just a chance to sing; it’s an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and share your love of music with the next generation of singers.

How to Participate:
Please RSVP by Sunday November 30th by filling out this Google Form:

Town of Mansfield Honors GSA Students On Thursday, June 5th the Mansfield Democratic Town Committee honored high school seniors Grace Kim and Emily Freeman at the raising of the PRIDE flag on the Mansfield South Common for their staunch and vocal advocacy in making Mansfield High School a more inclusive community. In addition to receiving a monetary award, both students spoke eloquently about the school’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) , their own experiences, and the importance of acceptance. This well-deserved recognition acknowledges how these students have elevated the conversations around identity, empathy, and allyship in our school and community. Congratulations, Grace and Emily!

On Tuesday evening, Superintendent Murphy and MHS Principal Booth hosted the 3rd annual Future Teachers Signing Ceremony. To emphasize the importance of the teaching profession, a Future Teacher Signing ceremony for students from our Class of 2025 who intend to become educators is held every year. Events like these are more common when a high school student decides to play a particular sport at a particular college or university, but we want to call the same type of attention to future educators. Congratulations to Amy, Sophie, Caroline, Willian, Meghan, Jacob, Isaac, Jenna, Audrey, Annie, and John and THANK YOU to the many educators who attended this event to support our students.
